Great location with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Comfortable and clean rooms with spacious en-suites.Friendly hosts who welcomed us with tea and nibbles. An upstairs lounge with facilities like fridge and coffee making.
Limited eating places in the area, especially during busy festivals. Room size was not very large and lacked in-room tea/coffee facilities.

A lovely, clean comfortable room and bed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly warm hosts with a firm grasp of the attractions of the West Coast. These are the type of people needed by the industry here to promote our warm friendly lifestyle.

Top View b&b provided everything that was advertised. The view was great, the breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean.
It was a bit hard to find for a tourist from the 'Booked.net' directions & map.

The location of this bed and breakfast is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of both the sea and the mountains. the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, with spacious en-suite bathrooms. the hosts are friendly and welcoming, providing a lovely cup of tea upon arrival. the breakfast served in the morning is top-notch. the guest lounge upstairs offers a variety of facilities such as a fridge and coffee making.
Eating out in the town can be a bit difficult, especially during busy events like the wild food festival.

When we arrived at the accommodation they had no idea who we were and we ended up having to look for another motel to stay that night. The owned did phone and apologise as he hadn't checked his email and found our booking the day after. Still not good enough and very unprofessional.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the en-suite was spacious and well-equipped. the location was great, offering a beautiful view of the sea and mountains, and the staff were helpful. the guests lounge upstairs was a nice place to relax and enjoy free coffee and tea.
The accommodation was a long walk from the center, which made it difficult to get around. nearby restaurants were busy, so it was hard to find a place to eat.

View from Lounge.Good variety of breakfast foods.
Wording on Website lead us to believe we had a private ensuite with the Twin Bed suite, and not have to walk across the hallway to reach it.Owner stated that it was definitely private, after I pointed out the inconvenience(as I would be frequently up in night) Web text says"all heated rooms have private ensuites" so I guess we were misled by assuming our room would be heated....Not so, as room so small & backed onto a conservatory, one not required. I guess other rooms would be okay but wouldn't recommend the Twin Room.

We stayed there to go to the Hokitika Wild foods festival on 9 March it was only a two minute drive to the festival and the hosts was a lovely man nmaed Colin who joined us for breakfast and we talked about the area, the lifestyle etc. He was a lovely man and was very interesting as he was a local farmer before running the bed and breakfast so he told us ablut things to see and history of the area. We enjoyed our stay there and it was the beginning of a wonderful holiday for us. Thank you

Colin was extremely welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the short time we spent. He was very helpful and his recommendations as to a restaurant for dinner, activities, and shopping were perfect.

wonderful friendly hosts. Lovely home, nice room, comfortable. We had a great night over a wine or two and to get to know these two lovely people was magic. We certainly would like to stay in touch mainly because we were made to feel like family. Home away from home. Thanks for a most enjoyable night and I sincerely hope we meet again. Really wonderful experience, well done.
